Job Description of Manager Legal
Location: Mumbai
Key Areas
Structuring the Legal Department:-
- Preparing synopsis of all cases.
- Attending the hearings of all the cases.
- Drafting agreements.
- Time management by planning & organizing the work.
- Maintaining a diary stating the cases scheduled for hearing.
- Obtaining required documents from customer service and documentation department within a time frame of 5 days on opening of files.
- Maintaining records relating to legal due diligence- country level bundles.
- Updating the country level information with in the bundles from time to time.
- Liasie with external due diligence consultant on a regular basis.
- Organizing & setting up external consultant for any new due diligence globally.
- Providing various information pertaining to legal matters to management from time to time.
- Keeping records over the claim related papers and its resolution for any future reference purpose.
- Providing information to various agencies relating to legal documents for any specific country.
- Proper record keeping of minutes of the meeting of Board Directors & Shareholders.
- Submitting copies of various board/shareholders resolution to concern people.
- Organizing search report by any target companies.
- Participating in meetings with reference to any legal cases and its follow up from time to time.
- Safeguarding the interest of the company from any legal cases/ claims related matter.
- Overall review of risk management policies mainly with reference to insurance coverage.
- Maintaining various agreements under control for any unauthorized usage.
- Organizing secretarial audits on an annual basis and ensuring it proper compliance.
- Providing support on various legal and secretarial matters to global team.
- Land Acquisition,
Handling work related to Company Law for group companies
- Identifying the companies for takeover of work related to company laws.
- Obtaining the required records.
