Experience: 1- 2 years
Communication Skills:
- Good Verbal Communication (able to interact with clients through telephonic conversations.)
Programming languages:
- SQL
- Java (JSP, servlets, good design patterns knowledge)
- Javascript (AJAX)
- HTML
System software:
- Tomcat (Servlets, administration)
- MySQL (database optimization, administration)
- PostgreSQL (database optimization, administration)
- Linux experience (must be able to debug and administer the java environment)
Development tools:
- Subversion
- Bugzilla
- Ant
"Good to haves" but not demanded:
- Having worked on multi-lingual multi-national sites before (this is close to being a must-have)
- Amazon EC2, S3, RDB, etc. experience
- virtual machine administration
- Knowledge of building test-systems
- Google maps integration (and similar solutions)
