| Why Work In China?
It is the world’s second largest economy and has nowhere else to go but
up.
“If people are motivated and very
talented, they can be more successful in China than anywhere else,” says
Benjamin Cavender, a senior analyst at China Market Research Group. In the
past, China was dismissed as a cheap manufacturing hub. But as consumer
spending has risen over recent years, the rest of the world has begun to notice
its potential.
“China in some ways is a little like
the Wild West,” Cavender said. “The economy is just getting going... Consumers
are still developing, forming their tastes and habits.” It’s no surprise
that this country full of opportunities attracts ambitious, business-minded
adventure seekers.
