Should have strong core Java skills with object oriented concepts ·                   Working knowledge in one or more of JSP, Servlets, Java 2D/ Java Advanced Imaging API, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, Struts and Tiles. ·                   Hibernate, Spring, XML and related: XSLT, XPath, XMI ·                   UML, Rational Rose/ Rational XDE/ Poseidon ·                   Design Patterns, GO4 (Gang of Four) patterns, J2EE patterns ·                   Application server concepts and exposure to deployment of Java/J2EE applications in any of Tomcat / JBoss / Websphere / Weblogic servers ·                   Preferably exposure to Adobe's flex framework ·                   Should be able to participate design discussion with technical leads and architects and provide feedback, comments and suggestions ·                   Should be able to mentor and train junior team members in concepts and technologies
